My Thoughts

This is an epic story; with romance, lies and a lot of secrets, told between USA and Ireland this book will captivate your heart.
Even if the book is called Mary Kate, she is not the only main character of the story, there’s another interesting character, an American called Joe Malone who inherited something in Tarabeg, Ireland… their paths will not cross in this book, but both characters will make the life of Tarabeg change completely… ready?
In the beginning it was a little bit difficult to follow the story, there were so many characters to follow and all of them with their own problems… but as we start entering to the book, we understand that all these characters make the story real and interesting, a living book.
It was original reading a story based during the 60’s in Ireland, seeing that some things don’t change; weather, religion… On the other side, we will read the story of Mary Kate in Liverpool, how her life will change…
This is the second part of the Tarabeg stories, but I can’t wait to read the next book to discover another chapter of the story!

About the Author

Nadine Dorries grew up in a working-class family in Liverpool. She spent part of her childhood living on a farm with her grandmother, and attended school in a small remote village in the west of Ireland. She trained as a nurse, then followed with a successful career in which she established and then sold her own business. She has been the MP for
Mid-Bedfordshire since 2005 and has three daughters.
