My Thoughts

This is the book you’ve been looking all your life without knowing it! For adults and youngsters this book will put a smile on your face since the beginning.
This is an adventurous book, how a purple-bellied parrot tries to return home, trying to teach us that we all have our path in the world, we only have to be ourselves! That’s why is mainly focused to little ones, but I can assure you that the twisted and original humour is directed for adults, I am sure not all the little ones will get the “special” jokes on the story.
I’ll advise that the book has some English jokes, that maybe not everyone will understand or love, but I couldn’t think of any which the book could work without them! Not everyone would put jokes on their foot notes, you’ll have to admit it!
I think this story is to enjoy and discover a little bit about yourself too, the part that we hide from the ones around us just in case we will not fit in their circle, but that it’s always good to show everyone we love our “dark” side. Because if they are near us it means that they will accept us, no matter what! Maybe if you are a killer it would be a little bit difficult, but you never know… 😉
This is a book you’ll want to read alone, with little ones, with older ones… is a book to share and enjoy with company and I am sure it will not be read only once! Ready for the The Purple-Bellied Parrot?
