As the story unfolds we are immersed in a creepy, claustrophobic drama in which everything is at stake. If you like books with a strong female lead that keep you on the edge of your seat, you’ve found your next favourite read.
My Thoughts
This had been an addictive read, intriguing and hunting that makes you want to discover the truth since the first page.
When Lucy’s brother doesn’t appear on her birthday, she knows that something is wrong. She will travel to Night Town, the last town that his brother has been seen, to discover what has happened to him. But since the beginning the reader can feel that something is not right on this village, they are hiding something; but what? And what has really happened to his brother?
I really liked Lucy, she’s a journalist and is not scared to ask dangerous questions to discover the truth, she knows that something is not right on Night Town, and even if she has the help of the curious character Damon, she will not stop till she discovers the truth. Sometimes it feels like you don’t totally agree with Lucy’s choices, but she is overprotective of his brother and she wants to find him.
With a twisted story, with a little bit of romance and an atmospheric village, this had been a very interesting read that kept me guessing and wanting to know more from the first page.
