About The Book
#StillDetectiveing As an ex-star of a hit teen detective show, Maizie Albright gets the youth demographic. Or so she thought. Now that she’s adulting, today’s kids make Maizie feel out of date. At least the teen Youtube stars of Bigfoot Trackers who want to hire her to look into the disappearance and possible murder of their producer. A murder the police find as likely as Bigfoot.
Maizie has her own suspicions about the new celebrity retreat where their missing person was last seen. Particularly when she learns her ex-fiancé has been hired to run the Center. Kind of an issue when she thought Oliver was in prison. Kind of an issue when Nash, the man of her dreams, is out of commission.
Wait, not man of her dreams.
Boss of her fantasies. Professionally speaking, of course.
While Maizie’s looking for a missing Youtube star, she’s wrangling her mother’s wedding, assuaging an overzealous probation officer, and struggling to keep Nash Security Solutions solvent. Conspiracy theories collide with real-life catastrophes beginning with murder and possibly ending with Maizie’s life
Maizie’s life is a little bit of a chaos right now; she is doing some community service, her mentor is in the hospital and she is in deep trouble with her probation officer. This will be a busy book; full of humour, romance and mystery, don’t think Maizie is only an actress, she is more intelligent than you think!
It was quite interesting reading how Maizie was paired with some “youtubers” that are trying to find their missing friend and will hire Mazie to investigate it, lucky for them is where Maizie will have to start doing her community hours, of course there will be some secrets hidden on the mysterious place! But the funny part is how she tries to make teenagers follow her “orders” while they keep investigating by themselves ignoring totally Maizie!
This is the third book of the series, but you can read it as standalone, all the connections between the characters are easy to follow and you don’t feel lost at all.
If you are searching for a funny and twisted read with a brave woman, this is your book, I can assure you’ll enjoy the read! 😉
