About The Book

Special Agent Gideon Reynolds has tried hard to put his past behind him. He escaped the violence of his cult upbringing when he was just thirteen, and since then routine and discipline have been his way of making sense of the world. But when a petite blonde woman crashes into his life, he begins to realize that a little bit of chaos might not be so bad.
Daisy Dawson has had more than her fair share of pain too – but she’s done being a victim. Daisy’s determined to explore every new experience she can – including getting to know the dark and serious FBI investigator she meets when she fights off a masked attacker one night.
It soon becomes clear that Daisy’s attack was just the beginning. Now the bloodied bodies of young women are showing up all over California, and, as Gideon tries to find the killer, it’s clear that Daisy is in more danger than they ever realised…

My Thoughts

I am not sure if this will be one of my best reviews, I’ve been the last two days with fever and some pain on my ears and throat, but I love so much Karen Rose books that I didn’t want to cancel my blog tour day!
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ll see that I try to read all the Karen Rose books, I like some of them more than others, but I can’t deny that I am always glued to the pages and wondering what will happen next. On this case nothing has changed; addictive, compelling and more interesting than ever!
Say You’re Sorry is the first book of a new brand series set in California, with an interesting background case and some charming characters; but let’s talk a little about this book.
The beginning is scary and fast, a girl is trying to escape from a killer; she doesn’t know why he tried to kill her but in the fight she will steal a necklace; and then her life will change completely. Daisy will have a handsome Special Agent protecting her, she will be attracted to him since the first moment, but he has secrets and she is ready to discover all of them!
It is not normal being biased towards the killer, but in this case it has a controversial situation, he is a cold bloody killer and should be stopped, of course, but his past is full of abuses, so even if he has to be in prison, growing with another family I am sure he would never act this way, and all the victims would still be alive.
This book had a few stories mixed up, because the mysterious necklace is not really connected on the case but to the Special Agent Gideon Reynolds’ past, and let me say that I am really curious to discover more!
This is a romantic thriller, yes, and I loved every page of it!
