Lessons in Love by Belinda Missen
About The Book
Eleanor Manning is finally leaving behind her glittering but empty life in the city (and her soon-to-be-ex-husband) to return to the comfort of her childhood home in Apollo Bay.
She’s landed a lovely new job in her old primary school library and a flatshare with her bubbly best friend, Penny. So yes, she’s well and truly learnt her lesson when it comes to love…
But then she meets gorgeous teacher Marcus Blair and Eleanor’s self-imposed rules fly out of the window! Surely she can resist him long enough to keep this fling no strings attached?
This is a slow burn romance; full of humour, sparks and a lot of romance that will keep you wanting to know more about the Lessons in Love! 😉 Eleanor Manning is starting a new life, after leaving her soon to be ex-husband has decided to return to her natal city; things have to improve yes or yes!
Eleanor will be staying with her friend Penny, with a new job at the school library she went when she was a child; yes it will be different from the big places she had been working, but she needs a new start and that will fit perfectly. But at the new job there will be Marcus, who she will clash since the first moment, there will be fire since the first moment. But Eleanor is too hurt to see Marcus clearly and he will be compared all the time to Eleanor ex-husband… Will they overcome their differences or they will suffer? They will have to learn the Lessons in Love to have their final ending!
This had been a funny read, sometimes it felt a little too slow the progress of the story, but the story is addictive and funny, so you’ll not be able to put it down!
This is the first book I’ve read of the author Belinda Missen but I will search for the next one, I loved her writing!
