About The Book

Thirteen-year-old Juan’s summer is off to a terrible start. First, his parents separate. Then, almost as bad, Juan is sent away to his strange Uncle Tito’s house for the entire holiday! Who wants to live with an oddball recluse who has zigzag eyebrows, drinks fifteen cups of smoky tea a day, and lives inside a huge, mysterious library?
As Juan adjusts to his new life among dusty shelves, he notices something odd: the books move on their own! He rushes to tell Uncle Tito, who lets his nephew in on a secret: Juan is a Princeps Reader, which means books respond magically to him, and he’s the only one who can find the elusive, never-before-read Wild Book. But will Juan and his new friend Catalina get to The Wild Book before the wicked, story-stealing Pirate Book does?

My Thoughts

This is a book for young and adults, it doesn’t matter if they only share their common passion for books, because The Wildbook is an adventure full of books, my dream come true! 😉
This is the story of Juan, a young boy that after the divorce of his parents has to spend his summer with his eccentric uncle, Uncle Tito, that has the house full of books, piles and walls of books. Can I visit his house please?
Juan’s life passed from happiness to sorrow, doesn’t know how to act with his mother or where is his father, so even if his uncle is a little bit weird, is fresh air compared to his upside down life at home. The books will save Juan’s summer but it will give him the part of his life that didn’t know he was missing and that it will be forever staying with him. Because while searching for a magical book, it will make the life of our characters being part of a magical adventure with an amazing prize at the end, being able to read the un-read book!
Even if this is an adventure and fantasy book, is touchy and full of emotions that will make any reader to keep reading till the end.
I don’t know remember the first book I read when I was little, but my love for books started when I was really young, this is a book for me, you and all the book lovers around the world that want to read a beautiful story with our biggest lover as the main character, books. Because The Wildbook is much more than just book, is the passion for books told in a story, ready?
