IGIST by By L.S. Larson
About The Book
According to the one teacher on Earth who believed in her, Emi hadn’t a chance. The space academy of her dreams was more than a reach. The Intergalactic Institute of Science and Technology hadn’t admitted an Earthling for decades. The bygones left on Earth would lead a boring existence if, and only if, they were lucky enough to evade the plague. Emi always thought she was different, not because her only friend growing up in Rockland was a drone named Sadee, but because she was very determined, albeit obstinately, to become a revered scientist like her late mother. But even a passion for science and good old-fashioned grit could not prepare Emi for the challenges that await in a wide, strange galaxy under the auspices of the Star League.
This is a curious read, you can enjoy the experience reading the book (the traditional way), that is quite an adventure, let’s admit it. Or you can download the app on your mobile while you are reading and interact with the characters and the story. There will be prizes, stickers and special rewards to make the read more interesting.
It’s a sci-fi story, but it has some similarities with Harry Potter, a young woman that wants to be a scientist and wants to enter to the best school to fulfill her dreams of becoming the best scientist ever. The main character of the story is Emi, but there are a few of other interesting characters that will help her on this adventure.
This is an interesting book, how to follow your dreams no matter what and with everything against, but you’ll have allies when you less expect them!
I can’t wait to read the new adventure of IGIST, Emi is a brave young woman that will be loved for all the young (and not so young) ones! I hope we will know more about the IGIST universe! 😉
