About The Book

Perfect wife. Perfect life. Perfect crime.
Anthony is not the man everyone believes him to be. And Emelia is not the woman he wants her to be.
Theirs was a whirlwind romance, Anthony was the doting boyfriend, the charismatic and successful career man who swept her off her feet. But now Emelia is trapped in a marriage of dark secrets and obsession. She is no more than something Anthony wants to ‘fix’, one of his pet projects.
Emelia has no escape from the life that Anthony insists on controlling, so she shares her story through the only means she can–her blog. Yet Anthony can never find out.
Forced to hide behind a false name, Emelia knows the only way that Anthony will allow her to leave him, is death.
Trapped with a man she knows is trying to kill her, Emelia is determined that someone will hear her story and Anthony will meet his ends. That everyone will
discover the truth.

My Thoughts

What a twisted story! Original, complex and with an astonishing ending that will surprise every reader!
This is not a story full of characters; there’s Emelia and Anthony with their not so beautiful love story. Because since the beginning you know that there’s something wrong with them. Emelia writes a blog post with all her thoughts and fears about her life, she has a problem with her heart, yes, but she feels trapped in her own home too!
This is one of those books in which talking just a little too much would mean spoiling all the story for any reader. There are so many surprises during the story and twists that I would recommend you to read it and enjoy this psychological thriller.
There are so many details and curiosities about history and archeological sites that filled the science lover inside of me! There are not many mysteries with a science background and is always appreciated to discover new things.
I was surprised with the background of the story and all the detail the author, Naomi Joy, has done. Some interesting facts that made the story more real and possibly more scary, this could be happening in reality, not only a book, this has happened to someone!
This had been a quick read, I’ve read it in one sit, the flight was delayed so this book made the waiting less boring and more exciting.
If you want to know The Truth, now it’s time!
