My Thoughts

If you like a book full of secrets and mystery, this one will not disappoint you, believe me!
How many times our parents have said to us that secrets can’t remain hidden forever? Believe me, this is so true… but when you are young you don’t ever think about the consequences of your acts, you simply want to be accepted and respected, sometimes if the things you have to do are driven by the ones surrounding you, acceptance is first, am I right?
This is a story from the past that will change the present’s life of an Indian minister, Alia, she did what she thought was needed to be part of the group, now, all the secrets will be revealed, is she ready for the consequences?
This is a very well written book, full of surprises and realistic situations, it has been quite easy to fall in love with this book, but it doesn’t mean that it was easy to accept some of the situations that are explained on the story. The situations are uncomfortable and dangerous, but this is what the book tries, to provoke the reader and make them wonder how many secrets are kept from the ones surrounding us. Also, it was a pleasure reading from a different country, India, but sadly the human problems are all the same, it doesn’t matter where they come from!
