Nothing I Wouldn’t Do by Sarah-Ella Ozbeck
About The Book
Jax Levy is an almost thirty-year-old low-paid ‘journalist’ with little hope of progression. She has a love life only ever centred around a bad decision and a family too complicated to explain.
The one area of life that Jax has down are her friends – Clara, Omni and Alice are the loves of her life. So, when Clara announces her engagement to Ed, Jax hides all of her feelings of insecurity, and commits to becoming the perfect maid-of-honour.
That is until she discovers something about Ed that will destroy everything. Panicked and irrational, Jax makes a snap decision to go on a wild mission to save her best friend from heartache. But the truth is far more complicated than Jax had imagined and that decision soon comes back to bite her…
What an amazing read! If you are looking for a book but not sure which one, this, believe me, this is the one that will make you forget your world for a few hours!
Friendship, trust, loyalty, love and jealousy… these are some of the themes that will be talked in this book, but in a descriptive and relatable way that will make you part of the story, their lives and dreams.
This is the story of 4 friends; Jax, Clara, Omni and Alice, they are a small family but now Clara is getting married and Jax will be the best maid of honor ever. The only problem? Just that the future husband has some secrets of his own that could ruin everything… Ready?
I feel connected to this story since the beginning, I also have a group of 4 friends that we are like a small family; it doesn’t matter what’s the problem, we share everything… But I really don’t know what I would do if I was on Jax’s situation… she is in a very difficult situation, but friendship will be her biggest goal as well as to keeping Clara safe… The problem? Will it be enough? Is starting a marriage with secrets the best way to start?
I was surprised of how this book is so refreshing and real; so difficult to not feel moved by the emotions and situations of the story that I am still thinking about it.
Are you ready for “Nothing I wouldn’t do”?
