About The Book

One terrible moment changes everything for teenagers Kate and David. Brought together during the
darkest of times, a spark of hope is ignited between them – a hand held in the darkness, a promise whispered. Neither of them will ever forget those moments.
It’s another ten years before they meet once more, and their lives are now so different. The promise they made to each other on that fateful day still binds them, but now they have so much more to lose.
Have they missed their one chance at happiness? They only way they will ever know is to risk everything to be together. Is that too high a price to pay for love…?

My Thoughts

A promise is something you can hold or your can forget, I think it always depends on the moment you make it. And when is made in a moment of pain or fear it can mark your life forever…
This is the story of two teenagers, Kate and David, they made a promise a long time ago, now, 10 years later is their choice if they want to stick with it. But, in this case it will not be so easy, because the emotions and feelings involved in the promise will make their life change forever. For good or bad? You’ll have to read it if you want to know!
I always love a good love story, even if they make me cry, if the story is well written and with characters that you love, even a tragic ending makes the read worth every page.
Expect a little bit of mystery, romance and some twists; an engaging story that will make you believe in love and friendship.
I loved that you could not predict the ending, it was more like enjoying the read than waiting for everything to be happy at the end. Because, as you know, there’s nothing perfect, only life as it happens! Are you ready for “The Promise”?
