Don’t read the blurb, don’t read anything about this book, only start reading it right now!
Will Carver is a magician with words and macabre masterpieces, believe me, you don’t have to know anything about the plot because even a small bit would be too much and you’ll have less surprises while reading. 
What can I say about the plot without talking too much? Let’s start with Maeve, she has quite a few addictions on her own… but not really being able to share it with the “normal” society, she decides to create a special group for the “psychopaths” in the world. The idea could be great, a place to help the “killers” to redeem themselves and stop their weird addiction. But, let’s be honest, precisely killers are not well known for being able to stop their special needs… So? What will happen when the police will start investigating one of the members?
Let’s be honest, the best intentions, even if they are made for a few psychopaths, they do not always work!
This is a book to make your head spin and want to be part of this special group, because even if they all have a special addiction, it’s a detailed and dark vision of the world we are living in. Although it is fiction, the core is not so unreal, and one way or another we could relate to Maeve. Who knows, maybe you are a psychopath too and would love to be part of their group!
This book is part of the Detective Sergeant Pace series, but you can read it as a standalone, don’t worry.
