The Curfew by T.M. Logan
About The Book
I should have known something was wrong. I should have sensed it. Felt it in the air, like the build-up of pressure before a thunderstorm, that heavy, loaded calm.
Andy and Laura are good parents. They tell their son Connor that he can go out with friends to celebrate completing his exams, but he must be home by midnight.
When Connor misses his curfew, it sets off a series of events that will change the lives of five families forever.
Because five teenagers went into the woods that night, but only four came out. And telling the truth might mean losing everything…
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
What would you do to protect your son?
Andy and Laura try to be good parents, so as a prize for their son, Connor, to have finished all the exams, they let him go to a party. But when their son misses the curfew, they didn’t expect things to go so dark…
I’ll start saying that I always love T.M. Logan books, twisted and character driven to absorb the readers and loose track of time. Of course this book will not be different with the storyline starting with a party with 5 teenagers but only 4 coming back to their houses, you can expect something really horrible happened. But why and whom?
This is a story to put you in Connor’s skin, he knows what happened but is ready to lie and hide the truth as long as possible… you’ll feel the pressure on your skin and how he starts falling into a dark hole and don’t know what could save him.
The story is told by Andy, Connor’s father, seeing how his trust is put into question and trying to help his son as much as possible. So, the main question that will pop to your mind will be, what would you do to protect your son? I know the answer to this question for myself, but you never know how another person will act… Are you ready to discover it?
