About The Book

Zoey Beake is having a bad December. She’s just been dumped, she’s had an extremely dodgy haircut that even the biggest woolly hat can’t hide, and then a tragic accident – involving an elf outfit, stilts, and a red double-decker bus labelled ‘The Santa Express’ – leaves her dead.
But then Zoey is given a second chance at life. Sent back to the start of December, if she can match six couples by Christmas Eve her life will be saved. Which gives her the perfect opportunity to win her boyfriend back too…
Can Zoey find love in time for Christmas?
My Thoughts
Cupid for Christmas?? Who doesn’t want to believe in second chances in life and love? This is the story of Zoey Beake, a young woman who has a tragic accident but doesn’t worry, she got a second chance if she makes 6 couples by Christmas Eve! But as you can imagine, it’s not easy to make 6 couples just within a month, it’s not something you can joke about! Also, we can’t forget about Zoey’s personal life, that she just broke up with her boyfriend a few days before Christmas Eve. So, this can be a second chance for them too! Are you ready for love this Christmas? I am!
I have to say that I was a little biased with this story; I really loved the idea, Zoey and the secondary characters. But I really couldn’t stand the boyfriend, Scott, but it made me wonder how many times we try to force something that it really doesn’t work. Because this is not something that only happens in love or in the story, I think this is something that we all do without even noticing! This is a sweet and warm story; to make you dream and smile. And remember, that even if Christmas is a moment of happiness and family; being alone is never sad or disappointing, it’s always better to be happy alone than sad with someone. Don’t you think?
So… are you ready for “The Christmas Cupid”?
