When all the world is pointing at your husband, would you trust him?
Hannah is living a peaceful life, married with Owen and her stepdaughter Bailey. One morning everything will change, Owen has disappeared leaving a note and FBI is searching for him. Now it will be Hannah’s movement, trust him and protect Bailey or believe what the news and police are saying. As you can imagine, Hannah will try to trust her instinct and will not stop till she discovers the truth.
This had been a very well plotted and addictive read, easy to understand Hannah’s thoughts and the feelings overwhelmed by her situation. Because, let’s be honest, I don’t know what I would do in her place! Trying to protect Bailey when she doesn’t want her and trying to discern what’s true within all the situation it’s not easy, you have to be brave and fearless.
This is a mystery book, but I felt it has a strong core of friendship and trust, because Hannah’s power is to protect Bailey at all cost, even if their relation is not good. So, they will have to trust each other, start a relation they haven’t had before, a new beginning… Of course while they are trying to discover the truth!
This is a frenetic read, you can feel the rush on your veins while everything seems to crumble around this family, and believe me, it’s impossible to put down!
