Where demands go way beyond late-night food cravings and into the luxurious world of the super-rich, Tiffany is on hand to help with all kinds of seemingly impossible requests.
From opulent nurseries and stylists for new-borns to 3am calls worrying about just not being enough, Tiffany also shares her own rollercoaster journey to motherhood, as well as speaking honestly about her post-natal depression. Secrets of the Mummy Concierge reminds us all that being a new parent is one of the hardest jobs on earth.

My Thoughts

As a mother I have to say that this book makes you feel less lonely and lost during the pregnancy. I am a mother, but when I was pregnant I was alone in a strange country, without friends or family to ask weird questions and doubts. So, I’ll admit from the beginning that this book could have helped me a lot, like a good friend; with some interesting hints and stories to make you feel more confident and less alone.
The book chapters are based on interesting situations that any pregnant woman or mother will feel related; since the post-pregnancy (stressful moments of the in vitro fertilisation) till the breastfeeding (and post-natal depression). A book to make any reader understand that they are not alone in this strange world of being a mother and with real situations to make you remember that it’s okay to fail, we are all humans.
I think that if any of my best friends get pregnant this will be the book I’ll give to them, it’s not a pregnancy encyclopedia but a friend to rely on when the world is crumbling and you don’t know who to ask for help.
I remember the moment the pregnancy test appeared positive, I started searching online for “help” and it was entering to a strange world where nothing was completely explained and everything was talk like you knew everything; I’ll be honest saying that this book could help me a lot, the author is great making you feel connected to her and share the real stories she has lived!
If you are pregnant or know someone that it is, believe me, this book will be a Holy Grail!
