Gemma is preparing for her wedding, she is ready and happy, but she could never have expected that the groom, Finn, didn’t go to the church!
So, she does what any person would do, start searching for him hoping that he is okay and he will return safe. But the main question that everyone is asking, will he ever return?
I have to say that I really loved this story; it made me think about my wedding and how happy everyone was! Even if it’s not the best day for Gemma, you can feel how much she loves Finn. She thinks that something has happened, not that he simply has left her. And that’s what moves this story; how Gemma tells their story with Finn, how everything begins. And then we have the present, her need to know what has happened while everyone around her thinks that he simply left again…
I really wouldn’t like to be in Gemma’s skin, but the author did an amazing job sharing the emotions and thoughts, it’s really easy to feel what she feels and want to hug her.
This is a beautiful and sweet story; to make you believe in love and second chances.
