What can be more scary than having someone watching you? I really don’t think anything, someone that is watching you on every move when you are in your lower moments?
I’ll admit that this is not an easy read; after reading this book I was scared from my own shadow!
This is a chilling and twisted read; since the beginning it scares you. Sophie Walter’s decision to stay at the Harmony House will be something that she will regret; sooner than later. Because it will not be what she expects but a horrible game prepared for “The Watcher”.
This story will be told between two different perspectives; Sophie and the “Watcher” making you distrust everyone living in the apartments and without really knowing what’s the ending point of this horrible game. And of course we’ll discover that Sophie is not the first woman the “Watcher” played with… how did the other woman end? You’ll have to read the story to know all about it!
This book keeps you awake at night till you’ll discover what really happens in the story. The secrets and lies are intertwined within all the characters of the story, making the reader distrust everyone! But I think this is what the author wants; scary, twisted and addictive!
