As she starts to explore her newfound abilities, to her horror she learns that creatures are going missing. Only Alice holds the key to solving the mystery, but she’ll need to harness her full powers first. And to do that she’ll need a bit of help from her new friends – animal and human alike.
My Thoughts
Who would not love an amazing adventure with a complex young girl and animals? I am in!
Alice is a very special character, she is autist, so it’s not always easy to connect with other people. This treat will also make her more approachable as a reader and great for readers to feel represented.
This is the story of Alice that will start at a boarding school, she knows that it’s not easy for her to make friends so when she discovers that she can talk with animals a lot of doors will open for her. And maybe she fill find the friends she deserves in the process!
I love how the books you can read now have real characters, with real problems and situations that younger readers can understand or can see that we are all different and we deserve respect and trust.
This is a beautiful story, full of action, twists and lovely characters. I can’t stop talking about it and reading it with my son!
