About The Book

I know everything about you.
I know your name, your birthday, your kids’ names, where you live, where you work. I know when you get that big promotion, or when you argue with your spouse.
You tell me all this because I’m your bartender.
But someone knows everything about me too. Someone knows all my secrets and they’re using them against me. They’re setting me up.
The police think I murdered Emily Parker. To prove my innocence I need to find the real killer.
I need to beat him at his own game.

My Thoughts

They always say that being a good bartender is being a good listener. But this will not be the case for Clay, he was searching for a fresh start and being bartender is an easy job and available everywhere. Until death is surrounding him…When one of Clay’s clients is found dead and he is the main suspect, he knows that the only way to find the truth is to start to investigate by himself. He will do whatever is in his hands to find the real killer, because he is innocent and someone is trying to frame him, but why?
Since the beginning you have a lot of questions; who is the killer? Why does everything point that Clay is the killer? And, what is Clay hiding? This is a quick read, told in the perspective of the suspect, you can’t stop reading to know more about the story; Clay is ready to prove his innocence, even lie to the police to discover the truth; but the killer is always a step ahead of him… Did they have a past together? It is not difficult to be part of the story, Clay will be an easy target for the killer, he will do all the wrong steps to be the main suspect, so it is a little bit maddening to read how Clay acts, so it is an irony to see how he is the one that is putting his own freedom at risk! If you are looking for a twisted mystery with special characters, this is the book you need to read! Ready for the “Dead Game”?
