Ready to discover another great book for this 2021? Take a look…
The Murder of Graham Catton by Katie Lowe
About The Book
Everyone says Graham Catton was the perfect husband, professor and father.
Why would someone murder him?
His wife, Hannah Catton, tells the police she remembers nothing from the night of the murder.
Why would she lie to them?
Evidence against the accused, Mike Philips, is minimal and he protests his innocence throughout the trial.
Why would they convict him?
Journalist Anna Byers has overturned numerous prison sentences with her popular podcast CONVICTION and she believes the wrong man is behind bars.
What will she do to help him?
Someone knows more about the murder than they’re telling. It may have been Hannah’s husband who was killed, but listeners are about to become judge, jury and executioner on this season of CONVICTION.
What an amazing read! Twisted and dark, impossible to put down, believe me.
Having to change your life because of your past can’t be easy, always remembering the dark memories and afraid that anyone would discover your deepest secret…
This is the story of Hannah Catton, her husband was killed a long time ago; now she has a stable life, with a partner who loves her and a beautiful daughter to protect. But now, a famous podcaster has decided to revive her case and claims that the killer is innocent and that she was involved in the murder… How Hannah will face the accusations and how they affect the life she is having now?
Hannah is a character that you’ll be biased since the beginning (maybe it was my problem as I read so many books!), she still has nightmares from her marriage, but did she really tell all the truth about what happened that night? Or is she hiding something? I’ll admit that I didn’t trust Anna Byers (the journalist from the podcast) either, why is she so fervent to claim that the wife did it? How can she be so certain with the doubt? And most important, why now?
I’ll admit that I really enjoyed this read, it was easy to enter the story and try to discern the truth behind all the lies and secrets that all the characters were hidden.
Sometimes it was not easy for me to be on Hannah’s skin; the fear that the husband could still harm her and her fear to him made me angry. How is it possible that a human can hurt another human only for pleasure? This is something that I would never understand…
If you are looking for a great read to enjoy this weekend, believe me, this is your best choice!
