What a beautiful and real story to read, it will stay with me for a long time, believe me!
Do you ever think about the important moments in your life and maybe change your actions? Like what would change if I didn’t do it or say it?
This is the story of Elena Godwin, ten years ago she was on holiday with her boyfriend; but then within a few minutes her life changed forever. In these moments she met someone, a stranger who saved her, Elena didn’t know his name but was not able to forget him either. Maybe now it’s time to re-open the painful wounds and see the things with a new perspective?
I’ll admit that Elena is a very good person, I really liked her character and totally understand all her actions and thoughts. While on the other side, Harry, Elena’s boyfriend, is not someone I would trust. Don’t ask me why, he is not a bad person, but I didn’t really like him, neither as a character nor as a real person! I suppose we can’t like everyone, but I think that this is something done on purpose by the author, a character that changes while the story progresses and you can understand him. But I would possibly not date him!! 😉
I think this is an amazing read, sweet and real, perfect to make you think about your life choices. I think this is one of those rare books that I will re-read, to remember me that you can always change your life if you want to!
